Khor Zhi PingWhen talk about “loading”, we don’t mean the basic process of putting and arranging items inside the container. Receiving, picking, item arrangement planning, quality checking, shunting, system and manpower monitoring, inventory management, loading space management, and etc are included in loading process as well. Communication, teamwork, and ongoing monitoring are also crucial elements of the loading process. Having the opportunity to intern in the FGS department has allowed me to obtain more practical knowledge and abilities in managing the storage and loading process. As a newcomer, I believe that being willing to learn and asking questions is one of the opportunities for everyone to improve themselves and succeed in the future. I do believe that: “The more you ask, the more you learn.”
Lau Jun XiangBeing an intern planner of Production Planning and Material Control (PMC) at AGP (Auto Global Parts) was an incredible learning opportunity for me since I was able to receive a lot of practical expertise but not theoretical knowledge that could only be obtained during academic. When I first started my internship period at the company, I was impressed by how eager every team member and superior was to teach me. During these four months, I learned about the names of numerous automobile spare parts, such as lamps, bumpers and grilles, as well as the raw materials and components needed in the process of production from input to the finished goods.
