MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• To execute corrective and preventive maintenance activities as schedule plan. To record and reduce machine breakdown time.
• Involve in new machinery installation, and work together with vendors as necessary.
• To carry out the maintenance department’s kaizen activity so as to ensure continuous improvement of maintenance activity.
• To work safely in accordance with OSHA requirements, report any unsafe finding to the superior as necessary.
• To practice good 5S work methods in the workplace and be responsible for taking care of working tools or equipment provided.
• To follow work instructions and propose an improvement of work instruction as needed.
• To provide technical service to solve i3qa maintenance work order issues through root cause investigation and apply system solutions. Record the root cause and action taken in the i31a system.
• To provide on job training and guidance to junior technicians.
• To raise Purchase Requisition with detailed specifications of parts or services required for support.

Requirements:

• Good verbal and written skills in (Mandarin, Malay, and English) to support communication with machine suppliers.
• Candidate must process at least a Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronic Engineering.
• Process basic knowledge in Stamping/ Plastic Injection machine maintenance and structure problem-solving methodology.
• Able to work in a high and difficult environment and challenging work.
• Willing to work in Meru Klang, Selangor
