ACCOUNTANT

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reporting Accountant role.
• Preparation of Group Consolidation on a Monthly, Quarterly & Annual cycle together with the requisite Group Financial Statements.
• Preparing presentation for monthly management meeting and working with the Finance Manager and Management Accounting Manager to provide insightful and timely analysis of the monthly results.
• Preparation of the Group Monthly Scorecards and helping to improve the various measures used by the Group.
• On a Quarterly basis, preparation of the Quarterly Bursa Release and Board Meeting materials including any ad-hoc analysis as required.
• Assist in Annual Audit Process and co-ordinate with External Auditors on all matters pertaining to the interim & final audit and preparation of Annual Financial Statements
• Key person liasing with External Auditors to ensure all financial transactions and accounts are prepared in accordance with applicable MFRSs, compliance to Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and statutory requirements.
• Overseeing the Group’s Tax reporting and submissions of annual tax return, tax estimates on a timely basis and liasing with the Tax Agents
• Assist in update of the Transfer Pricing Documentation Study.
• Supervise the preparation and tracking of Related Party Documentation.
• Assist in the preparation and consolidation of the Annual Budget and translating the Budget into the Monthly Scorecards
• Assist in adhoc financial analysis.
• Other ad-hoc matters

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Professional Degree (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA/CIMA).
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
• Experience in SAP and BI will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Audit, tax and public listed company experiences are a plus to this position but not compulsory.
