SAFETY OFFICER

Job Responsibilities
  •  To inspect the place of work for any hazards that can cause bodily injury to the persons employed in the workplace.
  •  To investigate any accident, near-miss, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational diseases happened at the place of work.
  •  To advice employer regarding safety and health issue at place of work.
  •  To assist employer/safety committee in organizing and implementing safety and health program.
  •  To become secretary to the safety and health committee.
  •  To assist safety and health committee in any inspection of the workplace for compliance with the Acts.
  •  To collect, analyze and maintain statistic on any accident, near-miss, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease happened in the place of work.
  •  To assist any officer in carrying out his/her duty under the Act or any regulations made under the Act.
  •  To carry out any other instructions made by the employer on any matter pertaining to safety and health of the place of work.
Requirements
  • Must be a green book holder with at least 4 years of working experience.
  • In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA) and procedures
  • Diligent with great attention to detail.
  • Willing to work in Meru, Klang.
